IT’S TIME TO HAVE THE CONVERSATION
This project is to serve as a entry point of discussion of a stigmatized issue. The current climate for men’s mental health has come to a critical point in history, where strategies need to be made to address the increasing number of men who are experiencing mental health-related challenges. As theatre is a site for social change, it can play a major role to bring the issue of men's mental health to light, initialize the extremely important step of creating a conversation and provide support to men who have been affected by trauma. By sharing this play, we act as advocates for reducing stigmas around men's mental health, give a voice to those who have been conditioned not to speak up about their struggles, and aid in the fight for personal and social wellness.
